I'll do my best. I really want to try a 'water' product on those little bases. Woodglue shrinks too much.
But I need to get all my bikkies in a row first run

Have a look at Woodland Scenics Water Kit you can buy it from model train supplys shops. It can cover 28 square inches (180 sq cm ).

I've seen the stuff, looks pretty good. In the meantime I'll just layer up woodglue if I have the patience to try any water scenes
Thought it time to replace my beat up cutting mat so I went to town and found they only had pink ones. I'm rolling with it

I'm the opposite, it's mostly light colours I suck with
To me that mat there looks mostly pink but in poor light it looks powder blue, which my mind would lose light grey/silver pats on
It's good though, nice to have a nice clean surface to crap up... taking bets on which jar of paint I'll knock over on it first ohno

I really did mess up the paint on those models good. They're completely saveable but I've about more than doubled the amount of time I'll spend on the paint by messing it up so well.
