Thats why its great when your building mate, always coming up with your custom made parts and mods. Cant wait to see the build that engine goes in.

Great to see and keep at it hi5 thumbsup

I read where they suggest putting solid inside then cut.
Print a rod to suit the i.d, slide over ferrule, and add more to the print and make it a cutting jig.

You shorten the ferrules and you can leave some long, If you look at Hot Rod engine you see all different lengths.

I remember you telling me that years ago just now, Luke  I think it was way back when I was mucking around with ally tubing  Good thinking on a printed solution!

Yeah Albo, I was gonna do one of those different-height cantered manifolds next, will probably just make the holes deeper for the shorter ferrules, easier than cutting em  Lots of different stack-style manifolds to try!

More test prints done... Looking okay, needs to be flipped on the horizontal axis to match up with the heads  whoops

Can be downsized by a mm too, got the newer version thats fixed printing now... 2 hours to go!

Hard to get a good unpainted picture, but those nubbins for fuel rail/lines have a little divet in em for easy drilling out

Image

Can also see every single spec of dust from sanding some surfaces of the prints

But yeah, 2 hours to go on this print here which has some hotwheels wheels for someone, some airbag setup tests and the 'fixed' manifold/rocker covers. Really wish the transparent/tinted transparent resin was in stock, I hate that my resin prints look like cast resin rofl

 got to say the transparent looks a bit cooler too.

Like the last pic seeing all the parts just hanging there, blows mind how that printer works. Have ya see the new resin printer, only seen a snippet myself.
