So yeah, I've had minimal benchtime, I've not been well the last couple of months. But I'm slowly getting back into it and getting up some motivation to be creative. Finally done a few Warhammer bases. I bought 100 'blank' 32mm bases and this year I'd like to try to get them all done in various styles/sets. Loads of things I want to try. But it's nice to just have a bit of a creative outlet.

Still lots of contrasting things I want to try

Got a box of unbuilt space-marine dudes to some day paint and put on the bases

Current base I'm working on, sort of. Doing a crystal with a bit of land on the bottom to make it seem like it's floating kind of.

Messages from Bodg and Zac remind me I'm still a car-modeler, thanks guys :)
I've packed up the Warhammer base stuff in it's container and I've got a kit on the bench.

My compressor seems to have been damaged in the move and leaks from the twist-knob that sets the PSI, so that's utterly fan-*******-tastic. I've got a few models ready for paint so the compressor bugging out is the last thing I need.

Those bases look awesome!!! Warhammer figure look so good but once I realise how small they were I decided to stick the the big 1:24 stuff. Keen to see some step by step picture as your build and wash finishes over them thumbsup

Looks like good fun.
Always nice to do some free form type building where you can be creative and not so stressed about making things shiny and straight.

no one says you HAVE to build cars mate, with your creativity, i for 1 would be a big supporter of you spreading out to other areas, like your warhammer bases, which are AWESOME!
just good to see you doing something again :)
