How was your day?
Re: How was your day?
Well not much rain yesterday it started to rain more about 3.00 this morning and to top it off the washer machine died yesterday as the wife was doing some washing
so now we got to buy another one. We had 50mm so far its still light raining, How you going down your way bodgybro.

Re: How was your day?
major flooding down here
my lounge room is leaking, my side room which usually floods, is actually holding up well.
most of my local streets are underwater.. might go for a drive in the Adventra with it's high ride height
and get some local pics to show.
these are near my mates house... locals hate when people drive down these streets just to see how flooded they are, they create
s that push the water into their houses.

Re: How was your day?
Its amazes me you see roads closed because of water but you get some knob that's got to drive though the water,
rain has stopped here the little creek has a little water in it. Just enough rain to green the place up so far.

Re: How was your day?
I wish the rain would stop down here mate... there are my local streets
1 fittingly is Sea St

Re: How was your day?
Look's like you are getting more down your way, Also it looks like if you closer to the coast the more rain you are getting, The granddaughter is driving back from Sydney, Dannie said its a bad trip back the her place at Blackalls Park which is close to Lake Macquarie. Its very foggy outside now too and cold. On a odd note the last few days my left foot has been very painfull and in flamed thought it was from the weather then its dawn on me I have been eating oranges, I remember the last time I eat them I had the same trouble, Bugger
Me forgot as its been two years since the last time. There is something in oranges that gives me trouble. I used the orange skin to put on the garden to stop the stray cats from digging it up to s----
there is about six strays around here.

I like how the idiots think their cars are amphibious

You gotta love when knobs hit karma!

Re: How was your day?
Ya its good to see knobs getting karma, Was watching the news on TV last night there was a knob in a blue Holden ute drove into flooded water once he knew he could not drive across he backed up, The news crew asked why he tried to drive across he said because there was no sign say the road was close
you think with over 500 feet sheet wide of water would tell you not to drive into it. I think a lot drivers take there brain out once the get behind the wheel of a car, there is a lot of unseen danger in flooded water and all new cars have little computers in them that don't like water, I am 100% sure some drivers go brain dead once behind the wheel, Wind picked up here last night looks like its blown most of the rain cloud away.

Re: How was your day?
So I walked out to my office last night to get the latest FG bodies to work on today...
stepped into the rom before putting the light on and here ... squish, squish... :/
I had been in there on sat during the heavy rain, no leaks, all dry, no problem...
but since it eased up, the water has seaped in through the joins where the bricks mean the slab (i presume coz I can't find any other source) and flooded the floor. everything that was on the ground, is now wet and soaked up the water. I had my latest WRX kit box on the floor... that is like tissue paper now.
I had a bit of a look around but was a bit too annoyed and upset to bother trying to salvage anything last night.
I now have to pull the whole thing apart, remove all the carpet for the 3rd time and god knows what i have to do to fix it this time.
big job :/
Very likely having 3 foot of earth on the back and sides doesn't help with water removal.
Might be time to get the dingo in there.
