Ray, Been looking at the Airfix 1/24 Spitfire drool but will be staying with the small ones.

I've heard a lot about the Trumpeter kits, excellent quality and accuracy the main reasons I bought it.
Also the 1470 hp Rolls Royce Merlin engine looks impressive, the thought crossed my mind to shove it in a rat rod..... rofl
Nah perish the thought ;)
I've always liked WW11 aircraft and this Mark V is of particular interest as it was used in North Africa and was highly modified for desert operations.
I intend to purchase another favourite which is the Hawker Hurricane as they were the unsung hero's during the Battle of Britain, unfortunately the Spitfire took all the glory.

Here ends my history lesson............. rofl

Ray there were two other Hawker planes that were forgot too the Typhoon and the tempest both were good in there own way.

Been fairly quite here lately. I've been chipping away at my 57 Chevy, just ran out of TS29. I have more coming in the post but dunno what to do this weekend now. Post some mock ups? Try n find a chassis for my NASCARLO? Open my 29 Ford roadster kit? Hmmmm......

Still no desire to build mate, so my CBF attitude remains, I keep walking into the room but nothing happens inout

Just been busy over my way. I've been stocking up on stuff though, got lots of stuff to use. Been buying wheels (big surprise lol) and doing mockups, got a couple things close to the painting stage.

Im gonna try and do something model related 2moro thinking about chucking a turbo on the dattos v8 although dont be surprised if i dont

I have no desire to build either atm... I have printed something for KC but have been slack in posting it, sorry mate. i'll send a pic of it this arvo, to at least show you how it came out.
I am hoping to get something done on the CB WRX this weekend... hope and reality, 2 very different things.
