:D :D

Got the rims painted

Interior almost done

'Chassis' is good enough to hold the rest together

That filter desperately needs a wash... But I painted the body in SMS Crystal Purple-something. This picture was like 3 coats in I think

This short clip is all 4 coats on

Wheels look good all painted up. So does the interior clean and simple.
Body looks grape, the colour will go well with the wheels and interior.

I moved all my Gunpla and 35th scale stuff out to the garage 'painting bench', when I feel the motivation to paint up those skate decks from a while ago I'll just chuck a big plastic sheet over it.

Image

Also ordered another of the same bench for the garage, gonna move all model building to the garage methinks.

Being set up and comfortable all one place is a great escape to let the creativity go wild yes!

Could always enclose the sides and back, then you will only have to cover the front when painting.

I'm not a very handy person, but yeah I would totally cap the ends with board if I was, and could easily get the materials home.

At the mo' I'm just thinking of having 2 benches next to eachother with the fancy lamp I have in the middle and just rotate it to either side depending on what I feel like doing.

Finally invested in a proper bench setup, 2x cheapo benches from Bunnings  Very pleased with 'em! Cars to the left and everything else to the right :D

Image

Still waiting on the tall chair so I can reach the benchtops while sitting

But for the maiden voyage...

Mister Sandy surprised me with possibly one of the coolest kits in existence!

Image

Thanks man, knocked my socks off!

Image

Such a cool kit with tons of options! I think I'll go more street-style with full bumpers thinking

Wanted to try doing 'floating spoke' style wheels, these were the proof of concept/test, just a quick directional Yspoke with inner borders on the spokes.

Went okay. Not overly fond of the end result design-wise. But it worked so I'm happy.
