Almost finished my collection too. Snagged a clear MG Zaku, the MG Slash Zaku and a R type MG Zaku recently. Only a few HGs I’d like to get, some 30mm and I’m done buying kits.

On that note, I looked on ebay yesterday (dangerous for me I know) and the Aoshima Mad Max kits are unbelievable. One of the issues is going for around $250 and the other one for around $100, and I thought they were dear when I bought mine. I also have the rarer than hen's teeth trans kit to convert one back to the first version, have never seen one on ebay, ever.

Not braging on what I have, just was in a state of disbelief at the price, may have even let out a swear word or five.

Actually there seems to have been a shift in the price of the not so common kits lately, have seen a few that I have going for a bit more than I thought they might have.

Maybe it's just me, I dunno, what do you guys think?

Oh man, they're gonna keep releasing cool Gunpla kits so I rekon we'll never stop finding cool ones we want :lol: I got a Grimoire and the scuba-dude 30mm a little while back, they're so cool!

I know what you mean Bear, its a mix of reasons I rekon, I think when re-releases are leaked/announced collectors/resellers go through their stack and take note of what ISNT being repopped so they can tack on a few extra buckerooos. Lots of sellers who do kits as a side-hustle probably trying to make a few bucks amid these crazy times, on the flipside I'm sure theres a desparation for all kits at the moment with lockdowns/shipping internationally taking longer, stopping al together etc.

The only thing that happens when I look on Ebay at kits is I get pissed off at the greed-holes trying to sell kits for crazy money killing our hobby :lol: Gets me all riled up!

By all means show off!! I lvoe seeing rare/interesting stuff! I try not a own anything too nice cause I might ruin it :lol:

I think that might be my build motto, as in painting bodies.

I also browse eBay. Good for price comparisons and the occasional bargain. I see new release kits go up at almost double the RRP when they know the shops are sold out. I also see a lot of event limited kits at silly prices. So when I see them cheap I grab them.

The prices of all car kits got silly so I imported cars from Japan. Then recently I got onto Gunpla while they were cheap to import. This year shipping has gone mental, prices are going up!! When the world gets back to normal I bet the prices will stay sky high. Lucky I have my stash to build :lol: I’ll be lucky to build 1/2 of them I think rofl

It has been chilly here a bit at night too. Had the printer going for the first time in a while, the cold seems to effect the resin so super-detailed prints either need to have a heater going in the garage or wait until its warm :lol:

Speaking of tanks Al, found this video of a cool diorama with a tank on it;

Theere's some incredible war-themed dioramas out there. I also watched one where the dude had a kit of a famous fountain and in the middle of it was a stature of an alligator and some children. Really interesting stuff.
