Sorry, forgot to add link

I'll have to be ultra careful about speed and burn-through, but Cesar got pretty good results

Yeah I remember Cesar, phenomenal builder.

Dont know if id be game to try them unless I knew there was plenty of thickness in final clear layers of paint. Way to easy to burn thru by hand let alone using a machine.

Stay away from the sharp edges and go easy for sure. Interested to see how you go.

Id feel safe using these for a final buff. I remember him using something similar to these in the past.

Yeah Ill be going slow as heck on the rpm  and avoiding edges. If I do get a bit antsy I'll give it a fatboy coat of tamiya thinner for sure :D

I've seen those wool ones, they look really useful. I'd be tempted to clean my ears with em

Fixed, whoops

I used the SMS clear, not the 2k but their standard gloss clear. I don't like it much, it's annoying to build up coats to get a good shine. in the future I'm gonna stick to tamiya clear for sure.

To be on the safe side, dont use the polishing pads on Tamiya X-22 clear, pretty sure it would burn through.

Thanks man :D Good lookin' out!

I only use the TS-13 clear and the x35 Gloss Clear in jars (I think, I cant remember the code for it). Never had a problem with it besides user-error

I'm gonna o a test and see how nice I can get it laid over some of the SMS paint on a future build because I love it so much and the SMS clear seems expensive for what it is. And I aint getting their 2k because itll probably go off before I get a chance to use it all

Always try to help ya mate.

Other awesome rattle can clear is Mr super clear, bit spendy but worth it and bigger 170ml cans.

LOL!
Need to plan ahead when using 2k, get a few bodies base coated ready. Then use it all in one paint session.

That 'Mr' range of products seems to be so immense and vast. Next we'll see stuff like 'Mr 1964 Chevrolet Impala Car Kit'

Speaking of, if anyone has a freshy Revell 64 (or just a bonnet) I'd love to know about it :D Gonna go classic with those Jevries wheels.
