Ta fellas! Yeah its still trippin me out... Have another set that fit in the stock Colt tyres...so 80's style 90's Hilux it is! Rekon I'll have to give it another coat of blue, or will clearcoat bring back some of its luster? The paint was really crap so I gave it a wetsand a little while back. Will be adding more to the paint in the way of 80's style graphics so some of the blue will be covered up atleast.

Yep that's the one, the lowrider version. Won't be using the flames though

As it sits now it's not got the chassy on, I'll grind down the rails since they stick down a few too many mm to get that 'frame layin' stance. Then I'll just glue on to the floor section. Probably gonna do it as a slammer.

Been trying to decide on the graphics I wanna try on that blue Hilux, can't seem to decide. I've been looking at 80s mini trucks in all their glory  But nothing seems to fit the style of the Hilux. Might change out the wheels to something more contemporary but I really wanna use those BBQ ones rofl I love em!

I like the monochrome idea  The lazy man in me applauds the idea! Actually would be really cool, just dumped over those wheels in full chrome instead of the black inlay on em hi5

The yoot does need another coat of blue even after the couple I put on it a few days ago. the roof is still kinda faded. Dunno what happened but I'm guessing I over-thinned the blue. Not to worry I've got a couple more jars of it laying around :D
