Got something to share/show

Post by sandboarder »

Same as before. Lets share those cooling findings from the internet. Also a place show what new kits or hobby related products you have got recently.

Nets got wind in it's sails again, so I can see all the pics, woo!

That's a scraper if I ever saw one, needs to be a bit more low though :P That curcuit car's freakin NUTS! Gives me a bitta inspiration for a Levin I've got lying around in my stash

I've always loved this car, such a cool style, all low and somehow curvy AND straight at the same time. And no stupid retro-fitted newer bodykit ruining the lines drool

You pull up to this at the lights, for some reason it looks like the driver's waring a racing helmet, bah, whatever, maybe he's just really into safety. You rev your Commodore to assert you obvious dominance over this guy, just to make sure he see's your bogan war-chariot, emblazoned with Ned Kelly stickers and dumped on 20"s you bought from Gumtree for a steal, even though they still had a little bit of tread on em'. He looks over, then straight back to the road. What the hell? Not even a respectful nod? That's it! You rev the balls out of your stock Commodore, you swear it's gonna suck in the Super Cheap Auto pod filter and spit it all the way through your 3"catback exhaust system with an iron cross muffler-tip. He's in for it now... The lights go green, you stomp, lock steer and pray your automatic gearbox holds on, but it's no use, the little japbox is off, leaving you in a cloud of your own transmission smoke. Here's why:

That is rather gorgeous, I really like a lot of the stuff that comes from his shop, it's got a nice elegant style, especially his rods.

Was trying to remember who the 'Lead Slinger' dude was from that episode of Monster Garage (quite possibly the only bearable episode s02e15) where they did this 54 Chebby:

Look at that fade!

Turns out it was a guy by the name of Bill Hines, who's been quite the busy beaver in the custom scene for decades. Have a read of this page, dude's done some insanely cool stuff. http://www.kustomrama.com/index.php?title=Bill_Hines

That episode of Monster Garage was excellent having all the old timer's come in and apply they're skillz to the build.
