Bugger about that mate, water has away to get in every were, The unit next door to yours after the big flood last year water had water seaped from out under the slab for weeks after. There is no storm drains along the back fence. Might be cheaper to put the old lino down then carpet but lino is not as warm under foot as carpet.

It's my kustomvinyls office, so it's only used for vinyl cutting or model building... and the beer fridge beside storage, so i will rip the carpet out and leave it bare concrete with some milk crates for storing stuff off the floor now. the only thing that really sucks is my display cabinet... that got wet so that means the wood will expand and weaken :/

That's a same about the display cabinet, was only joking about the lino was stirrer a bit. back to my corner.

That's a bummer Bodgy. It'll be really hippy/hipster like without carpet. Milk creates, bessar block shelfing, jam jars for cups stirrer rofl

Been trying to get help to get a no interest loan to get a new washing machine as the old second had one has died, The paper work that one needs and the running around would be easyer to go down to the river to bash the cloths with a rock only think the wife does not like that idea rofl now the waiting game begins crossed we get a new machine.

Old Army trick we use to do out bush Allan, throw your stuff in a trunk you can seal add water and washing powder, find a rough as guts track and go for a drive for a 15 minute cycle :lol: , change water and do the rinse cycle on the way back....worked a charm rofl yes!

The walls are bessar block, I have wood shelves as well... may 'make over' the room when I pull it all out.. new paint, vinyl wall art, something different.. starts this weekend
