I feel like I am not getting anywhere on these Bushranger FG's... sand, putty/prime, sand, putty/prime, sand....
This is the part of the process where it takes ages and looks like nothing is happening.. which is not what I need to keep motivated.
Chassis', tubs and dashes are done, can't mount either until the body is handalable (this should be a word!). I need to line the tub up on the chassis whilst mounted to the body, any slight warp with printed parts means you have to manually align each part each time. once I have the tub aligned, I have to align the dash, once those are set.. I can mount the seats. it's a bloody build by numbers!
I was hoping to have some paint on by the weekend.... with all this rain predicted for the rest of the week, I may not. it's taking longer than usual for primer/putty to dry between sands too... bloody cold weather!!

Bodgybro a lot of people living in Newcastle are worried about the heavy rain coming next week, Last time a Ship run a ground   I hope it does not come in land too. Will be keeping a watch on the weather too. Ya cold weather slows a lot of things up.

ahh the Pasha Bulka (not 100% on the spelling), that was hilarious!
Also great for tourism!! I know so many people who drove up there just to see it in person... made a day of it, had lunch, did some shopping.
We need another to run aground lol

Got a pic? I believe (correct me if i'm wrong), series 1-3 were the same shape, then it changed to series 4-5, series 6-8 (best looking IMO)
With series 1-3 being pretty much the same with only noticeable differences when people removed the front and rear bars and black moldings.
I did see something about a new 2017 RX7 but thought it was BS as 7 was replaced with the RX8, so it should be a series x RX8, whatever series they are up to.

on rotary's... if anyone ever see's a 4 door RX3 kit, grab it for me!! I don't think they ever made 1 but on the odd chance a promo kit was let loose...

I should google before opening my mouth!!
I mistook series for generation.
Gen 3 RX7 is the FD, which is series 6-8 shape.
My bad... so yes, you have the best looking RX7 shape :)

The RX-Vision, said to be the base for the 2017 RX7 revival (if it happens)

Personally I like the series 4-5 FC RX7s. That RX vision concept my not have a rotors tho as they don't comply with emission and seeing as company I like Holden have to met euro 5 standards come November I can't see a rotory in the future.

That FD kit will be a good build Al. Looking forward to seeing it.
