Dang that's a cool box art! I'm not a huge fan of the look for the regular humanoid-ish Gundams so wings are an awesome variation IMO. But nothing beats a weird lookin' mech like the Gogg

Those detail parts looks crazy!!

I got my $40 Zaku MS-06R today. First thoughts, the box is the wrong shape, second thought the box art I’ve never seen before. Then I realised why it was so cheap, it’s a knock off!!!

Know idea what I’ll do with it now. If the drone builds up nice maybe a custom paint job. I actually wanted to build it OOB like the biz art.

Here’s a side by side box comparison. See how the shape is completely different

Had no idea there were even knockoff getting around! You'd think Bandai would be hellishly protective of their hardware and stuff.

Should be interesting!

I saw mention of Chinese bootlegs but I didn’t expect to find them on Australian Ebay, this guy came from NSW or Victoria. crossed its still a small fit and doesn’t require to much glue and clean up.

I really like its oob colours so I will weather it when I build it Al thumbsup

More mail today :D

I’ve seen a few clear MG Zaku’s sell for a decent price and let them go. Every one on eBay is $280 plus  with GBWC cancelled this year the expo kits that would have been there are available through Hobbyco so I got a clear MG Zaku for about $10 more then the standard Char Red version!!!

3rd round of Expo kits if anyone is interested. The 2 I was hoping to see aren’t there. Maybe if there’s a 4th round. I bought the clear Zaku from the 1st round. The kits come from the distributor not from Hobbyco.
