Tech issues

Post by bodgybro »

Is anyone having any site technical issues?
Ray is unable to post, keeps getting a security violation error page
Obviously, if you can't post, you won't be able to post here to tell me... so do as Ray did, PM me... that seems to work.

I updated the forum to the latest version with security and big fixes, he still can't post.
I've asked what browser he is using and if he is able to use another computer or smart phone and see if he can post.
anyone else got any ideas?

I use google chrome

??
Google chrome is a browser, like internet explorer, firefox, safari, opera.. many others.
You shouldn't need a name to use it. if you download and install it to your computer, you just run it like you would a normal internet browser.

The blue E means Internet Explorer and the Google page it opens is the google search engine.
So I now know, Chrome, Safari and Internet Explorer seem to be working for others..

What browser were you using last night when you had the same issue?

I use chrome on my phone as well, will try and post from safari for a bit and see if i can get the error.
I've sent a support request to the host as it is there logo shown on the security violation page, assuming they can give me some idea why.
